The Human Health and Performance Contract supporting NASA at the Johnson Space Center is seeking an experienced Engineer to lead test integration for the Lunar Landing System in Houston, Texas.
What You'll DoYou will play a significant role to help Human Landing Systems (HLS) Crew Compartment Office (CrewCo) lead and facilitate joint test integration. You will provide leadership to the HLS Program's joint test planning, coordination and execution, including for human-in-the-loop (HITL) testing. You will apply extensive experience in test planning and execution to help HLS chart a successful path forward to complete all integrated testing. .
What you BringYou bring extensive test engineering, integration experience across multiple disciplines, and HITL test experience. You use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, integrate within HLS and with the JTP, develop and execute test plans and provide leadership to joint test planning. You bring extensive experience with NASA and commercial partner testing processes.
Primary Responsibilities:- Provide leadership to the HLS Joint Test Panel as chair
- Perform necessary integration for and chair Test Readiness Reviews
- Provide leadership in the integration of commercial provider tests into NASA facilities and for HITL testing
- Support test planning, test plan reviews, test readiness review planning, and associated coordination
- Provide upward and horizontal reports of completed tests
- Generate innovations and lessons learned to improve future test activities
- Review testing activities for relevant program requirement compliance and traceability to design verification.
Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent degree
- Minimum 20 years experience
- Minimum 10 years experience with test engineering, test execution, test integration and leadership
- Demonstrated experience in leading tests and test integration
- Demonstrated experience showing self-motivation and proactivity in communicating and integrating with others without a lot of hands-on direction
- Demonstrated experience working within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA centers
- Demonstrated experience in identifying integration concerns and gaps in information and communicating concerns to leadership in a diplomatic manner
- Demonstrated experience performing cross-program integration with multiple people for various purposes in parallel
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)

Pay Range:Pay Range $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
