Senior Cloud Solution Architect
Employment : Contract to Hire (FTE)

Reports To: Director, Enterprise Architecture or Cloud Architecture
Job Summary
The Senior Cloud Solution Architect proactively and holistically leads and supports enterprise architecture (EA) activities related to cloud computing and hybrid infrastructure solutions. This role guides the design, migration, and management of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud and on-premise solutions that enable business transformation initiatives within a healthcare payer environment.
Job Requirements
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 4 5 years in cloud or solution architecture roles.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (primary public cloud platform).
Working experience with:
AWS (limited workloads)
Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), particularly for data and analytics use cases
On-premise data centers leveraging VMware virtualization
Solid understanding of cloud networking, identity and access management, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
Experience supporting application migration and modernization initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile / Scrum delivery models and working within Agile teams.
Strong healthcare payer domain knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements (HIPAA, PHI protection).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the healthcare payer industry (claims, enrollment, provider, care management).
Cloud certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform certifications.
Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with FinOps principles and cloud cost governance.
Experience working closely with enterprise architecture and infrastructure operations teams.
Experience with Healthcare Payer Core Administrative Processing System (CAPS) like Facets
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
