We are seeking a Senior SAP Functional Analyst with strong expertise in SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), Production Planning (PP), and Materials Management (MM) to support manufacturing technology initiatives in a large-scale enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in SAP manufacturing and supply chain processes, along with strong functional and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with modern SAP technologies including SAP S/4HANA and SAP Digital Manufacturing, leveraging the latest integration and support packages.

• Lead requirements gathering, validation, and documentation for SAP Digital Manufacturing, PP, and MM solution components.

• Evaluate existing manufacturing applications and recommend improvements or consolidation into SAP S/4HANA and Digital Manufacturing platforms.

• Collaborate with regional and global teams to deliver solutions using structured IT delivery methodologies.

• Participate in enterprise projects spanning Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and Aftersales processes.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams during design, development, testing, deployment, and training phases.

• Lead and support SAP implementation and application management initiatives, focusing on functional design, process analysis, and configuration.

• Ensure strong testing frameworks and end-to-end process validation in coordination with Quality Assurance teams.

• Provide application support and troubleshooting for production issues, collaborating with ABAP developers, Basis teams, infrastructure, and operations teams.

• Support the deployment of new solutions and transition them to operations teams for long-term support.

• Develop and maintain process documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.

• Provide guidance on best practices for SAP Digital Manufacturing, PP, and MM implementations.

• Stay updated with SAP roadmap, configuration tools, and emerging technologies.

• Integrate SAP solutions with enterprise environments and external partner systems.

• Work with SAP BTP and SAP Plant Connectivity to integrate SAP with shop-floor systems.

• Ensure solutions comply with security, audit, performance, and supportability standards.

• Identify opportunities within the SAP ecosystem to simplify application landscapes and improve operational efficiency.

• Provide advisory support to optimize SAP usage and adopt best practices across teams.

Required Qualifications

• SAP certification in SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM), PP, and/or MM.

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP PP and MM experience, including configuration and functional design.

• Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

• Strong expertise in manufacturing and supply chain processes with end-to-end process knowledge.

• Experience leading requirements workshops, solution design discussions, and user training sessions.

• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.

• Ability to configure and test SAP security roles and authorizations.

• Hands-on experience with middleware or integration platforms.

• Working knowledge of ABAP development in ECC and/or S/4HANA.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage priorities across multiple projects and global teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Computing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Digital Manufacturing in automotive or discrete manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management and manufacturing/logistics integration.

• Exposure to AI and analytics use cases within manufacturing or supply chain environments.

• Programming experience in ABAP, Java, Python, or .NET.

• Knowledge of EDI transaction sets and communication protocols.

• Familiarity with SAP Automotive solutions.

• Experience integrating OpenText products with SAP.

• Working knowledge of SAP HANA database for analytics and reporting.

• Experience with data archiving strategies for large manufacturing datasets.

• Hands-on exposure to SAP Fiori applications and custom extensions.

• Consulting experience or exposure to global stakeholder collaboration.

• Certifications or experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAP Activate methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks across complex global programs.
