5+ years of experience in technology research, product/vendor evaluation, or innovation engineering, including hands-on delivery of at least one AI-driven automation or evaluation use case (preferred).
4+ years of experience leading end-to-end PoC or product evaluation initiatives, including defining scope, success criteria, standardized test patterns, execution plans, and scoring frameworks across multiple vendor solutions.
3+ years of experience working in infrastructure, platform, or cloud-native environments, with the ability to assess integration, scalability, resiliency, and risk of emerging technologies.
3+ years of experience building or enabling repeatable evaluation frameworks, including templates, scoring models, prompts, or workflows to standardize and scale product assessments.
3+ years of experience using AI/automation (LLMs, prompt engineering, agents, or coding in Python/Java) to accelerate research, analysis, and evaluation activities.
3+ years of strong Agile execution skills in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
3+ years of excellent technical writing and stakeholder communication skills to deliver decision-ready outputs (evaluation summaries, findings, scoring, and recommendations).

Experience designing and scaling structured evaluation frameworks, including scoring methodologies, comparative analysis, and standardized assessment approaches across multiple technologies.
Strong application of AI/automation to enhance research and evaluation workflows, including vendor analysis, test generation, and synthesis of insights into executive-ready deliverables.
Experience with infrastructure automation and environment configuration (IaC, CI/CD, or similar) to support repeatable PoC and evaluation setups.
Experience evaluating SaaS, infrastructure, observability, or platform vendors, including understanding integration complexity, data flows, identity/auth patterns, and operational readiness.
Familiarity with enterprise governance, risk, and compliance considerations, including data protection, PII, and regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

What You Will Be Doing
Lead evaluation of emerging infrastructure, observability, automation, and platform technologies to determine internal adoption and strategic value.
Research vendor capabilities, product positioning, and enterprise use cases using public data, vendor materials, and AI-driven tools.
Define PoC criteria and assess production readiness, including scalability, resiliency, data protection, and regulatory considerations.
Build and maintain repeatable evaluation frameworks, templates, and workflows to standardize product assessments.
Facilitate vendor discussions, validate claims, and provide structured recommendations to stakeholders.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel to shape innovation strategy and support decision-making across a new and evolving function.
