Windows Systems Administrator

:

  • Support, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure and server environments.
  • Administer Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.
  • Manage Active Directory (AD), Group Policy (GPO), DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Monitor system performance, availability, security, and capacity, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including patch management, upgrades, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
  • Configure and maintain VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and support cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform platforms.
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation solutions.
  • Manage Azure DevOps projects, Git repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Administer backup, disaster recovery, and security solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
  • Collaborate with developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to support enterprise applications and infrastructure initiatives.

  • 8+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments.
  • Strong expertise in Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
  • 4+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, CIFS/Samba, and NTFS permissions.
  • Experience with Windows security hardening, patch management, vulnerability remediation, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Working knowledge of Linux administration (Red Hat and Ubuntu).
  • Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, production systems, and hosting platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Required: At least one current certification in Windows Server Hybrid Administration, Microsoft Azure Administration, or AWS SysOps Administration.
  • Additional certifications in VMware, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Linux, Security, or ITIL are a plus.
