Job Requirements
PhD or ABD in Operations Research or Mathematics or Statistics or Data Science or other Quantitative field plus 4 years of experience teaching or as a Research Assistant or Data Scientist or Developer required. Required Skills: Experience mentoring & hiring junior data scientists; performing analytic work in Financial Services or related industry; delivering comprehensive models and custom product solutions from initial requirements; demonstrated success in customer-facing projects; demonstrated contributions to pre-sales efforts on the technical side; developing customized product models/prototypes based on new customers' specifications; with machine learning (neural networks, decision trees, support vector machines, genetic algorithms, linear & logistic regression, clustering, variable selection); Mathematical programming, Clustering and optimization; conduct predictive and prescriptive modeling and descriptive analytics on large population datasets, such as: Segmentation, Survival analysis, Principal component analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, Scenario & sensitivity analysis; Deep learning, Cloud technologies, Generative AI; C/C++, Python, Perl, Java, Unix/Linux, R, SQL, Unix shell programming, large datasets & real world data, linear models, graph algorithms, pattern recognition; Hadoop; AbInitio. Telecommuting permitted.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $202,779/yr-$202,779/yr annually. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
