Minimum Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in network operations, implementation, or engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise load balancing platforms (VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer [Avi] and/or F5 LTM)
- 2+ years of experience with Python and/or Ansible for automation
Preferred Qualifications- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, subnets, TCP/IP)
- Experience with network infrastructure (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing)
- Hands-on expertise with Avi load balancing (virtual services, pools, policies, SSL/TLS, persistence, health monitors)
- Experience with F5 BIG-IP (versions 15.x or 17.x)
- Knowledge of Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) and Avi controller architecture
- Experience supporting three-tier application environments (web, app, database)
- Familiarity with SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS delivery, and troubleshooting
- Experience with GSLB/global traffic management, failover design, and datacenter migrations
- Scripting and automation experience (Python/Ansible)
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Relevant certifications (F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator or VMware Avi certification) are a plus
About the RoleWEe are seeking a
Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise load balancing and network infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on ensuring high availability, performance, and security across global networks and data centers.
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage load balancing solutions using VMware NSX Advanced Load Balancer (Avi) and F5
- Configure and support virtual services, pools, traffic policies, persistence, health monitors, and SSL/TLS profiles
- Manage and support production networks across global data centers and edge locations
- Implement network security policies across routers and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and ensure continuous service availability
- Identify risks, gaps, and capacity issues; drive resolution across teams
- Support data center migrations, including traffic cutovers, DNS updates, and health validation
- Perform proactive testing and validation to maintain reliability
- Execute change management processes, including documentation and validation evidence
- Troubleshoot complex network and load balancing issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Contribute to automation using Python and Ansible
- Mentor and support network operations team members
- Partner with infrastructure, application, DNS, firewall, and database teams to improve service delivery
Additional Information- This role may require participation in an on-call rotation for evening support
