Seeking an experienced Senior Director with a strong background in healthcare technology and enterprise leadership to lead strategic technology initiatives. The role involves conducting stakeholder interviews and executive presentations, designing and architecting technology solutions, overseeing implementation, and driving cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Director will provide leadership across divisional operations, support policy and program development, manage departmental initiatives, represent executive leadership with internal and external stakeholders, and serve as the Assistant Vice President's delegate when required.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Planning, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field with 7+ years of progressive leadership experience; or Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in healthcare administration, healthcare technology, or public administration.
- Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, solution design, and technology implementation.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams, strategic planning, budgeting, and operational oversight.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Experience working with healthcare organizations, government agencies, or large enterprise environments is highly preferred.
Contract Title:
Principal Duties: Health Care experience as it relates to evolving technologies. Interviews, presentations, designing and architecting concepts and implementing solutions.
Minimum Qualifications: Under the direction of the Assistant Vice President, with wide latitude for independent initiative and judgment, is responsible for organizing, directing and coordinating the activities of Divisional
Directors to insure the promotion of Divisional and Corporate policies and programs. May serve as the Deputy to Assistant Vice President and assumes full responsibility and authority in the latter's absence in the delegated areas of authority.
General Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include:
Directs, coordinates and evaluates operations of divisional departments and departmental directors.
Represents the Assistant Vice President in matters involving City, Regional, State and/or Federal agencies.
Assists in the establishment of programs and policies reflecting the philosophy and objectives of this Division.
Attends staff meetings and reviews budget submissions.
Provides recommendations and direction regarding proposed projects and/or other related programs.
Performs other responsible tasks as directed by the Assistant Vice President.
Acts as liaison with other corporate departments to assist in providing technical services.
Acts in lieu of the Assistant Vice President in his/her absence and in designated operational areas.
Educational Level:
A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in hospital administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration or an approved related program and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or,
A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and inter-organizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or,
A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
