Job Title: Forward Deployed Engineer
Location: Boston, MA

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly adaptable and technically strong Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with clients on-site, delivering customized software and AI-driven solutions. This role requires extensive travel (100%) and a unique blend of software engineering, cloud expertise, and client-facing skills. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, AWS technologies, and emerging Agentic AI systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients on-site to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python and AWS cloud services
- Build and integrate Agentic AI solutions, including autonomous workflows, LLM-based systems, and intelligent agents
- Customize and implement cloud-native architectures tailored to client environments
- Develop APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for real-time and batch processing
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production environments
- Collaborate with internal engineering, product, and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and performance
- Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to client stakeholders
- Continuously gather feedback from client engagements to improve products and solutions
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of professional experience in software development or related roles
- Strong proficiency in Python and AWS Bedrock.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, IAM)
- Experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications
- Practical experience with Agentic AI frameworks, LLM integrations, or AI-driven automation systems
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design skills
- Willingness and ability to travel 100% (domestic and/or international)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with tools/frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Exposure to data engineering or MLOps workflows
- Prior experience in client-facing or consulting roles
