Threat Monitoring: Actively monitor and remediate security alerts originating from Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender.

Automation: Assist in developing Sentinel workflows and workbooks to automate incident response.

Investigation: Utilize Microsoft Threat Explorer and Advanced Hunting to conduct deep-dive security investigations.

Email Security: Configure Exchange transport rules and manage Defender Tenant Block/Allow lists based on security events.

Forensics: Provide comprehensive forensic data to support future investigations and root cause analysis.

Policy Enforcement: Develop and maintain the organization's security procedures and standards.
Candidates must demonstrate significant experience within the Microsoft ecosystem:

Microsoft Defender: 3+ years managing Defender for Identity, Incidents/Alerts, and Tenant Block/Allow lists.

Active Directory: 3+ years of experience with On-premises Active Directory.

Microsoft Entra ID: 3+ years of experience (formerly Azure Active Directory).

Microsoft Sentinel: 2+ years of experience with SIEM management and investigations.

Kusto Query Language (KQL): 1+ years of experience using KQL for Defender/Sentinel (Highly Desired).
