Expert Systems Architect

Introduction:

The Expert Systems Architect will be responsible for designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) that meet business requirements. They will provide technical guidance to development and operations teams, oversee the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions, and ensure compliance with security and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Solution Design and Architecture:
• Designing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Selecting appropriate Google Cloud Platform services for specific use cases.
• Creating high-level and detailed technical designs.
• Ensuring architectural best practices are followed.
• Technical Guidance:
• Providing guidance to development and operations teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers on Google Cloud Platform services and cloud architecture.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Implementation and Deployment:
• Overseeing the implementation and deployment of cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Developing and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
• Configuring and managing Google Cloud Platform services.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Security and Compliance:
• Designing and implementing robust security measures on Google Cloud Platform.
• Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Working with security teams on security reviews and assessments.
• Performance Optimization and Cost Management:
• Monitoring the performance of cloud applications and infrastructure.
• Implementing performance optimizations.
• Developing strategies for cost management and optimization on Google Cloud Platform.
• Troubleshooting and Support:
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Google Cloud Platform services and cloud applications.
• Providing ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions.
• Participating in on-call rotations for critical incidents.
• Documentation:
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation for architectures, designs, and implementations.
