Job DescriptionJovian Concepts, LLC is looking to hire a System Engineer Level 3 for a great opportunity in the Annapolis Junction area.
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
The Senior Systems Engineer leads the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems utilizing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) products. This role drives end-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and network components to ensure seamless interoperability, operational performance, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadthe design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and maintenance ofpacket-based hardware and software systems leveraging COTS and GOTSproducts.
- Directend-to-end systems integration across hardware, software, and networkcomponents, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and performanceoptimization.
- Developand execute system integration plans, validation and verificationprocedures, and deployment strategies to ensure operational readiness andrequirements compliance.
- Develop,update, and maintain BASH and PERL scripts to automate initial systemsetup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of core servers andclustered computing environments.
- Implementautomation and process improvements to enhance system reliability,efficiency, and maintainability.
- Providetechnical leadership, troubleshooting, and lifecycle sustainment support,including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Deliver training and technical guidance to administrators, operators, and cross-functional engineering teams while ensuring adherence to security and configuration management standards.
RequirementsAn active and current TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required to be considered. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
Required Qualifications:- Minimumof twenty (20) years of Systems Engineering experience onprograms/contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor'sdegree in technical discipline related to Information Technology, SystemsEngineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Five (5) additionalyears of Systems Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of adegree
