SAP Functional Analyst

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a SAP Functional Analyst to join a commercial airline company in Atlanta, GA. This is an 11-month contract to start with the potential for extensions.

Pay: $63.00 - $65.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Candidate Profile & Required Experience

• Experience Level: Minimum 5–8+ years of experience required.

• Education: Practical, hands-on experience is prioritized over formal certifications.

Top Must-Have Skills

• Deep functional expertise in SAP HCM, specifically OM (Organizational Management) and PA (Personnel Administration).

• Ability to assess cross-functional issues across OM and PA domains.

• Proven track record of partnering with business stakeholders to translate needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and documentation.

• Strong experience leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Scope

• Lead end-to-end data discussions and act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and HR IT.

• Recommend viable solutions based on a deep understanding of SAP configuration (Note: This is a functional role; IT handles actual system builds/ABAP).

• Conduct business process analyses and needs assessments to align IT with business objectives.

• Proactively identify risks and deliver audit-ready processes.

• Investigate, analyze, and solve software problems by mapping client business requirements to SAP products.
