Your Role
• The Project Manager, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) & Business Readiness, is a business‑side Program Manager accountable for planning, mobilizing, and executing comprehensive User Acceptance Testing across a large, multi‑phase enterprise transformation.
• This role ensures systems are validated against real‑world business processes and end‑to‑end operational scenarios, defects are fully resolved, and the organization is prepared for adoption.
• The role partners closely with IT testing teams while maintaining ownership of business participation, test coverage, and UAT outcomes.
• The role also supports broader GPO initiatives and business readiness activities required for separation and independence from client, ensuring operating teams are prepared to execute independently at go live.
What You Will Be Doing
1. UAT Strategy & Planning
• Define and execute the User Acceptance Testing approach for a complex, multi‑phase enterprise program.
• Ensure UAT scope reflects critical business processes, integrations, and end‑to‑end scenarios.
• Establish clear UAT entry and exit criteria aligned with program governance and readiness expectations.
2. Business Mobilization & Discipline
• Mobilize business process owners, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to participate fully in UAT.
• Set and enforce expectations for business roles, responsibilities, timelines, and test execution.
• Maintain discipline to keep the business aligned and engaged throughout all UAT cycles.
3. UAT Execution & Defect Closure
• Partner with IT testing teams to coordinate development and validation of UAT test cases.
• Lead UAT execution, tracking progress, coverage, and outcomes.
• Ensure defects are logged, prioritized, resolved, re‑tested, and formally closed.
• Validate that all critical and high‑severity issues are addressed prior to UAT completion.
• Proactively identify, assess, and escalate testing and readiness risks.
• Drive mitigation plans for gaps that threaten adoption or stability.
• Ensure test data availability, environment readiness, and user access
• Coordinate resolution of environment or data constraints impacting UAT
4. Cutover and Hypercare
• Support cutover rehearsals and business readiness checkpoints
• Support during hypercare
5. Knowledge Transfer & Sustainability
• Plan, coordinate, and track knowledge transfer from vendors to internal teams.
• Ensure documentation, training materials, and sessions are complete, accurate, and usable.
• Confirm knowledge transfer supports long‑term operational ownership and reduced vendor reliance.
6. Cross‑Functional Coordination & Readiness Assurance
• Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and IT testing teams.
• Align UAT activities with broader delivery, cutover, and readiness plans.
• Identify readiness risks early and drive timely corrective action.
• As needed, support cross‑initiative business readiness efforts aligned to separation and Day 1 independence, ensuring testing outcomes enable confident go‑live decisions.
7. Program Governance & Reporting
• Maintain clear reporting on UAT status, risks, issues, and gaps.
• Provide fact‑based readiness assessments to support go‑live decision‑making.
• Ensure UAT outcomes support confident deployment and operational stability.
