Lead UX Designer

Role: Lead UX Designer
Location: Columbus, OH
Duration: 6+ Months

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Lead UX Designer to lead UX design initiatives and create intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UX design projects from discovery to final implementation.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews.
• Develop UX strategy, information architecture, and journey maps.
• Build and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders.
• Conduct design reviews and present solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Identify usability issues and improve overall customer experience.
• Mentor junior and mid-level UX designers.
• Ensure designs follow responsive design and accessibility standards.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of UX/UI Design experience.
• Advanced experience with Figma.
• Strong experience in User-Centered Design and Design Thinking.
• Expertise in prototyping, wireframing, and interaction design.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Strong knowledge of Information Architecture and UX strategy.
• Experience creating and managing Design Systems.
• Knowledge of WCAG / accessibility standards.
• Experience with responsive web and mobile design.
• Familiarity with UX analytics and A/B testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in Banking or Financial domain
