Summary

Title: SharePoint Migration Lead Location: New York, NY (Onsite) Position: Contract

Role Summary:
The SharePoint Lead will be responsible for leading SharePoint Online (SPO) to SharePoint Online migration initiatives, including cross-tenant migrations and modernization of custom Power Platform solutions.
The role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and close collaboration with client stakeholders, Microsoft, and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee SharePoint Online to SharePoint Online (SPO SPO) migration projects, including sites, lists, libraries, and custom integrations.
Design, develop, and enhance Power Platform based solutions for SharePoint Online using Power Apps (Canvas and Model Driven) and Power Automate.
Manage packaging, exporting, importing, and deployment of Power Platform solutions within and across SharePoint Online tenants.
Configure and administer SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, and M365 Groups via admin portals.
Drive cross tenant migration of Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups, ensuring compliance with Microsoft guidelines and best practices.
Execute SharePoint cross tenant migrations using ShareGate, including assessment, planning, execution, validation, and post migration support.
Collaborate with Microsoft and ShareGate support teams to report issues, validate migration approaches, and align with recommended best practices.
Work closely with client managers, M365 developers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, processes, and reporting needs.
Provide regular status updates, risk identification, progress tracking, and issue escalation to client leadership.
Ensure adherence to Cliens delivery standards, security policies, and client governance frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills
8 to 10 years of hands on experience leading SharePoint Online migrations (SPO to SPO), including cross tenant scenarios.
Strong expertise in Power Platform development:
o Power Apps (Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps)
o Power Automate (cloud flows)
Proven experience in solution packaging and lifecycle management across Power Platform environments and tenants.
Hands on experience with SharePoint Online administration and Power Platform Admin Center.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Teams and M365 Groups, particularly in migration and integration scenarios.
Extensive experience using Share Gate for SharePoint cross tenant migrations.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, security, and governance considerations.
Soft Skills
Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work directly with clients, vendors, and offshore/onshore teams.
Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams, risks, and dependencies in complex migration programs.
