Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Lead Developer to join the Regulatory Operations (RegOps) technology team. In this role, you will work closely with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams to deliver regulatory reporting and operational capabilities using modern data architectures and enterprise integration technologies.

This position requires a strong server-side Java developer with messaging-based architecture experience, along with the ability to lead a small team of developers and manage deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on Java development, primarily focused on server-side systems
• Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Framework, Apache Camel, and XML
• Experience building messaging-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with message queue technologies, including:
  • Kafka
  • JMS
  • ActiveMQ
  • IBM MQ
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases such as:
  • SQL Server
  • Sybase
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, including:
  • Jenkins
  • Git
  • SonarQube
• Proven experience leading small-to-medium development teams, mentoring developers, and managing delivery timelines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Fixed Income or derivatives trading systems
• Knowledge of financial products including IRD, FX, or CRD
• Experience working with regulatory reporting systems
• Exposure to collateral management processes
• Experience with Murex is a plus

Education
