Job Description:
Project Manager III - Network Infrastructure

Location: Denver, CO (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

An experienced Project Manager is sought to support both customer-facing network initiatives and internal corporate network programs for a leading telecommunications organization. This role will focus on network infrastructure and data center-related initiatives, with an emphasis on greenfield projects, process automation, and large-scale infrastructure transformations. The ideal candidate will have a background managing network-centric programs rather than application development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure projects across customer and corporate environments.
  • Manage greenfield initiatives, including planning, execution, and governance of new infrastructure deployments.
  • Provide oversight and coordination across cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and vendors.
  • Drive execution of projects such as load balancer certification, network inventory system migration, and private cloud network buildouts.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across complex infrastructure initiatives.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including leadership, technical teams, and vendors.
  • Implement and enforce project management best practices and standards.
  • Track and report on project health, KPIs, and delivery milestones.
Required Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience managing network infrastructure and/or data center projects. Demonstrated experience delivering greenfield or large-scale infrastructure initiatives.

Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with enterprise networking concepts (routing, switching, load balancing), data center operations, and network transformation programs. Strong project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent technical projects.

Certifications: PMP Certification is required for the Project Manager III level.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within telecommunications or large enterprise network environments.
  • Exposure to network automation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with private cloud networking architectures.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure inventory systems or CMDB tools.
  • Experience with vendor coordination and multi-team delivery environments.
