Title: PCIe Verification Engineer
Location: Hybrid in San Jose CA
Experience: 7+ Years
Education: Bachelor/Master of Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/MS) in Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or related field
Role Summary
- Verify PCIe Switch / Retimer designs across Gen4/Gen5/Gen6 using SystemVerilog and UVM, ensuring protocol compliance, performance, and interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute PCIe verification plans
- Build UVM-based verification environments
- Verify PCIe protocol, LTSSM, link training, and error handling
- Validate switch/retimer features and interoperability
- Debug RTL and protocol-level issues; analyze coverage
Required Skills
- Strong PCIe protocol knowledge (Gen4/Gen5; Gen6 a plus)
- SystemVerilog, UVM, assertions
Nice to Have
- PCI-SIG compliance, SerDes/SI knowledge, emulation experience
GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be $140,000 to $160,000 and reflects base salary only and does not include additional performance-linked variable compensation, benefits etc. that may be applicable for the role.
