Summary

Job Title: Sr. Power BI Developer
Location: Atlanta, Georgia (Hybrid)

Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Developer with strong expertise in semantic data modeling, advanced DAX, SQL development, and Power BI administration. The candidate will design scalable BI solutions, build enterprise datasets, and create interactive dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and optimize Power BI semantic models using dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schema).
Create advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports with drill-through, bookmarks, and custom visuals.
Write and optimize SQL queries, views, and stored procedures in Oracle and SQL Server.
Manage Power BI Service components including workspaces, gateways, refresh schedules, and security (RLS/OLS).
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
Support governance, documentation, and best practices for BI development.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
5+ years of Power BI development experience.
Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), Power BI Desktop & Service.
Experience with SQL (Oracle and SQL Server).
Knowledge of data modeling, BI governance, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) semantic models (RPD).
Knowledge of enterprise data governance frameworks.
Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
