Oracle Functional Consultant (Vertex Tax, P2P, & OTC)

Location: Houston, TX (Preferred) | Remote (US or Canada - must support US Time Zones)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Functional Consultant with specialized expertise in implementing Vertex Tax integration, alongside strong end-to-end business process experience in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (OTC) modules within Oracle Cloud / EBS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement Vertex Tax solutions integrated with Oracle applications.

• Lead and support full-lifecycle implementations covering Oracle P2P (Procurement, Payables) and OTC (Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Shipping/Billing) modules.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, map business processes, and perform gap analysis.

• Troubleshoot, test, and resolve complex tax calculation, exemption, and compliance issues.

• Provide user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Core Expertise: Proven hands-on experience implementing Tax via Vertex within an Oracle environment.

• Module Experience: Strong functional experience in Oracle P2P and OTC cycles.

• Location/Flexibility: Based in Houston, TX (preferred) or remote across the US and Canada (must be able to work in US time zones).

• Work Authorization: Must hold a / Permanent Resident status (or Canadian citizenship if working remotely from Canada and supporting US hours).

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills.
