Overview
Talent Groups is seeking a Senior Data Governance Consultant to support a large scale enterprise data transformation initiative. This role will lead the implementation of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and Data Quality solutions, establishing strong governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end to end implementation of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and Data Quality modules
• Design and implement enterprise data governance frameworks, operating models, and structures
• Configure Collibra communities, domains, subdomains, and assets aligned to business needs
• Manage and curate enterprise data catalogs, business glossaries, critical data elements, and metadata assets
• Define, deploy, and maintain data quality rules across the data lifecycle
• Implement business lineage, business rules, logic, and governance workflows within Collibra
• Use Collibra Lineage Harvester to extract lineage from SQL, DDL, DML, and ETL scripts
• Load data catalogs and document manual lineage from Databricks across Bronze L1 Silver L2 and Consumption L3 layers
• Ensure technical metadata aligns with business definitions and enterprise data domains
• Partner with data governance analysts, program managers, and stakeholders to drive adoption
• Identify risks, resolve blockers, and escalate issues as needed
• Coach and mentor team members on data governance standards, policies, and best practices
• Support data privacy, compliance, and regulatory initiatives
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data governance and data management implementations
• 4+ years of hands on experience with Collibra Data Governance tools
• At least one end to end implementation of Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud and Data Quality
• Proven experience designing governance structures including domains, glossaries, critical data elements, tagging, and classifications
• Strong experience developing and managing data quality rules and monitoring processes
• Hands on experience harvesting lineage and metadata from Databricks
• Strong knowledge of DAMA DMBOK framework
• Experience delivering data governance initiatives in Agile environments preferred
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree required Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
