Executive and Help Desk Support Needs

Position Overview and Requirements
The role is a dedicated help desk technician focused on supporting senior executives including CEO, CFO, Chief People Officer, and COO within a Palo Alto office environment.
Candidates must have experience providing direct support to executive leadership and be comfortable operating in high-visibility, high-pressure settings.
Proven experience supporting senior stakeholders is required.
Technical expertise should include both Mac and Windows environments. Strong working knowledge of Office 365, identity and access management platforms such as Okta, and general SaaS troubleshooting is expected. Familiarity with device management tools including Kandji for Mac, MobileIron, and Intune is preferred.
Soft skills are critical. The individual must demonstrate excellent communication, the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues, and strong partnership with executive assistants.
The role requires adaptability, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to de-escalate situations while working with demanding stakeholders.
The position is based on-site in Palo Alto five days per week due to the presence of executive leadership. Limited travel within the Bay Area may occur but is not a core requirement.
This is a contract engagement with a minimum duration of one year and potential for extension.
Secondary and Desirable Experience
Experience supporting environments that include semiconductor or biotech lab operations is beneficial but not required. Exposure to fast-paced, large technology companies with executive-facing responsibilities is strongly preferred.
Broader Team and Work Structure
The organization operates across two primary Bay Area locations. The Palo Alto office includes a small on-site support team. Additional remote support resources are based internationally.
The role will primarily support executives but will also contribute to general help desk responsibilities when executive demand is lower.
Sourcing and Selection Approach
The hiring team prioritizes targeted sourcing and high-quality networks over general job board applicants. Candidates should have experience with reputable organizations and demonstrated executive support capability.
The evaluation process will include thorough screening for relevant experience. Ongoing collaboration with the hiring team is expected, including detailed feedback on candidate profiles and potential screening questions to refine the selection process.
