Job Title : Senior C# .NET Developer (Azure)

**Position Overview**
The client is seeking an experienced Application Developer III to support the Horizon project. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft technologies and modern DevOps practices. This role requires strong expertise in C#, Azure cloud services, SQL Server, and CI/CD pipelines.

**Key Responsibilities**

Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C# and .NET technologies.
Develop and maintain APIs, data integrations, and backend services.
Work with Microsoft Azure cloud services to deploy and manage applications.
Perform database design, data modeling, schema design, and data migration activities.
Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in SQL Server.
Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment using Azure DevOps.
Perform unit testing, integration testing, manual testing, UAT support, and performance testing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA testers, and infrastructure teams.
Maintain technical documentation and follow development best practices.
Support production issues and perform troubleshooting when needed.
Use Git for version control and code management.

**Required Skills & Experience**

Expert-level experience with C# / .NET development.
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong experience with SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.
Experience with JavaScript, JSON, and YAML.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git version control.
Experience with unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and performance testing.
Experience working in enterprise server environments.
Ability to design APIs, perform data migration, and work with data modeling/schema design.

**Preferred Skills**

Experience with Adabas database.
Experience working with z/OS environments.
Experience working with Virtual Machines (VMs).
Experience in government or large enterprise environments.
