Summary

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a NOC Administrator.

Summary:
Under direct supervision, assist with the daily administration of workload automation scheduled jobs in all environments. Also, provide first and second level monitoring, support, and troubleshooting of server, network, operating systems, and proprietary software. This position will be Midnight to 8:00 am but the first month will be day shift. .

Responsibilities:
* Maintain monitoring solutions for end user experience, current/new technologies, and new vendor solutions
* Maintain job function and business processes for consistency and increased productivity. Ensure documentation repository is kept complete and up-to-date
* Maintain healthy production and development monitoring environments by applying regular software and hardware updates, conducting system audits, and researching system improvements
* Assist in ensuring policies, processes, and procedures are followed
* Execute ad-hoc batch jobs network verifications when necessary
* Monitor, acknowledge, troubleshoot, and escalate alerts generated by batch processes, server, network, operating systems, and proprietary software
* Communicate with customers and/or internal groups to report or resolve batch and/or network issues
* Help assign, track, and document daily work tasks and issues
* Assist with updating technical documentation for projects and support functions to ensure operational readiness
* Assist with creating and generating metric reports
* Modify batch and network operational calendar to accommodate holiday, end of year, scheduled outages, or other schedule impacting events as necessary
* Monitor and analyze performance metrics (KPI) to identify and report opportunities where automation efficiencies may be improved
* Identify reoccurring network and application issues, coordinate root cause analysis with appropriate business partners, and drive corrective action

REQUIREMENTS:
* Associate degree in Computer Science and/or 1 years working experience in a Network Operations Center environment or equivalent combination of education and experience required
* Any IT certification is a plus
* Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is preferred; Information technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification is a plus
* Demonstrate competency in two or more of the following areas; batch processing, infrastructure monitoring, application monitoring, and SAAS monitoring
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills and be detail oriented
* Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
* Ability to maintain professionalism when interacting with internal and external customers
* Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient personal computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
