Important Note: This position requires candidates to be in onsite 5 days a week.
Job Description:
This position is seeking a skilled geospatial professional with cross functional skills and knowledge across engineering/design/remote sensing and GIS. The resource will serve as geospatial specialist with supporting and functional contributions to the following projects and functional business areas:
1. Supports the GIS Advisory Board
2. UAS/Drone Data Management and Planning
3. Geospatial Data Integration & Maturity Assessment
4. Provides expertise for Digital Delivery/Twin Efforts
5. Technical Lead for raster and CADD geospatial processing
6. User coordination & training
7. Process and data improvement
8. Develops guidelines, documentation, and procedures
9. Assists with contract deliverable guideline development
10. Supports enterprise project development such as remote sensing data storage and management.
Qualifications:
Minimum Skills
7 years - Advanced geospatial analysis, cartography, mapping, and data processing
4 years - Web-based GIS including ArcGIS Online ArcGIS Enterprise
2 years - GPS data collection and other field-based data collection methods
2 years - Python automation and programming for GIS
2 years - Microsoft Product Suite including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
2 years - Collecting and/or processing LiDAR or field collected imagery
Preferred Skills
2 years - Experience working with Open Roads Designer, Microstation, Autodesk, or other design/drafting software
1 year - Experience with LRS systems and data entry and analysis
4 years - ESRI Product Suite
2 years - Geocortex Software Suite, FME Software Suite
2 years - Programming Languages (Python, Arcade)
2 years - Web programming languages (HTML, JavaScript, C#)
1 year - Survey and mapping methodologies
