Over View

• We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst / Product Analyst with strong experience in Financial Services / Asset Management, particularly within Alternative Investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate complex investment and reporting needs into clear and detailed business requirements and user stories for data strategy team to review and sign off
• Document requirements gathered from business (investment team and data strategy team ) for user facing tools and dashboards, partnering with UX and engineering for development and building
• Ensure front end requirements align with underlying data models and platform architecture
• Work under oversight of data strategy team to prepare mockup and sample data used for requirements and testing
• Drive UAT and business sign off for major releases, including drafting test cases, lead smoke test, communicating results and action items and document requirements for bug fix and enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Product Analyst in financial services or asset management with strong subject matter expertise
• Strong alternative investments background (Private Equity, Private Credit, Secondaries, or similar)
• Proven experience working on data centric platforms with both UI and backend components
• Strong understanding of relational data models, data warehouses, and analytical datasets
• Ability to work directly with senior stakeholders and operate with minimal oversight

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of SQL
• Experience with investment data vendors, fund administrators, or performance systems
• Exposure to investment due diligence data and client reporting data
• Agile or product centric delivery experience
