We are seeking a senior level Business Analyst to support enterprise application and licensing systems. This role focuses on business analysis, quality assurance, Agile delivery, and end user training. The ideal candidate has strong experience creating user stories, performing manual testing, and working directly with business stakeholders to deliver compliant, user-friendly solutions. This is a 100% onsite contract role in Austin, TX, requiring hands on collaboration within an Agile environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform senior-level business analysis for enterprise application and licensing systems
- Analyze applications, troubleshoot system issues, and recommend or implement solutions
- Gather and validate requirements by working directly with business users and stakeholders
- Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies, including refinement and sprint planning
- Provide quality assurance oversight, including test case design, manual testing, and defect validation
- Review complex project deliverables such as design documents, test plans, and risk assessments
- Process change requests and support scope, acceptance, deployment, and release activities
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors to deliver project work and service requests
- Develop training materials and conduct formal training sessions for assigned system modules
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and system enhancements
- Ensure all work complies with state policies, procedures, and audit requirements
qualifications:
Qualifications
8+ years of senior-level Business Analyst experience in application or software development environments
Strong experience working in Agile teams, including user story creation and participation in all Agile ceremonies
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools
Proven experience providing quality assurance support, including test case creation and manual testing
Experience working directly with business users to gather and validate requirements
Ability to work 100% onsite in Austin, TX and pass a criminal background check
