Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Location: Hanover, NJ

Job Type: Contract

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr

Responsibilities:

Act as a liaison between business, product, technology, operations, and compliance teams.
Collaborate with card processors such as FIS, Fiserv, TSYS, and Marqeta for payment processing initiatives.
Support card products including credit, debit, and prepaid solutions.
Work on digital payment capabilities including tokenization (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay).
Analyze and support authorization, clearing, and settlement processes.
Assist in fraud monitoring, controls, and dispute/chargeback management.
Support rewards, loyalty, and promotional program initiatives.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defect triage.
Coordinate with payment networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
Develop UAT strategies, test scenarios, and test cases.
Execute and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
Support production releases, post-implementation validation, and issue resolution.
Analyze transaction data, metrics, and trends to support business decisions.
Collaborate with data teams to develop dashboards, MIS reporting, and regulatory reports.

Required Skills And Experience:

Strong experience in the cards and payments domain.
In-depth knowledge of authorization, clearing, and settlement flows.
Understanding of interchange, fees, and payment network rules.
Experience with fraud management and dispute lifecycle processes.
Familiarity with ISO 8583 message standards.
Experience working with Visa and Mastercard rules and mandates.
Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Technical And Analytical Skills:

Understanding of APIs, message flows, and data mappings.
SQL or data analysis experience preferred.
Knowledge of digital payments and mobile wallets is a plus.
