Lead PLM Business Process Analyst
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Lead PLM Business Process Analyst to support and enhance our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) ecosystem. This role serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping optimize PLM processes, improve user adoption, and align technology solutions with product development objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with PLM platforms, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and product development workflows. This is a strategic, business-focused role that works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT teams to drive continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technology teams to deliver PLM solutions that support organizational goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Analyze, document, and improve product lifecycle management processes.
- Drive process optimization and adoption of PLM best practices.
- Support engineering change management, workflows, product governance, and lifecycle processes.
- Lead workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and business process reviews.
- Define future-state solutions and support implementation initiatives.
- Manage and prioritize enhancement requests and project backlogs within an Agile environment.
- Develop user documentation, training materials, and process guides.
- Support integrations between PLM, ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Provide advanced user support and assist with complex issue resolution.
- Identify opportunities to improve product data management and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in PLM, Business Systems Analysis, Product Development, or related areas.
- 5+ years of experience working with PLM platforms, preferably PTC Windchill or similar solutions.
- Working knowledge of engineering design tools and their integration with PLM environments.
- Experience supporting complex products in manufacturing, industrial, aerospace, automotive, consumer products, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering change management, workflows, and product lifecycle processes.
- Experience with Bills of Materials (BOMs), product data management, and document control.
- Experience supporting integrations between PLM, ERP, and manufacturing systems.
- Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and evolving environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Experience with Digital Thread, digital transformation, or PLM roadmap initiatives.
- Experience integrating PLM platforms with ERP solutions.
- Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI or similar platforms.
- Bachelor''s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
