Responsibilities

As a Permanent Associate Attorney (Tax and Estate Planning), your key responsibilities will include:

1. Providing expert advice on tax and estate planning matters, including estate tax, gift tax, 706, 709, and trust planning.
2. Drafting and reviewing tax and estate planning documents, including revocable trusts and irrevocable trusts.
3. Advising clients on tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
4. Representing clients before tax authorities and in court proceedings.
5. Researching and staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations.
6. Collaborating with other attorneys and professionals to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
7. Providing legal advice on a wide range of issues related to the healthcare industry.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

1. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. An LLM in Tax
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney focusing on tax and estate planning.
4. Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly estate tax, gift tax, 706, 709, and trust planning.
5. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing tax and estate planning documents, including revocable trusts and irrevocable trusts.
6. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Admission to the state bar.
