Pay Range:$31.85-$45.50 Per hr

Job Description:
Join our dynamic team in a hybrid role based in New York, NY. 
As a contract Associate Publicist, you will be an essential part of our marketing and publishing efforts, responsible for creating and executing publicity campaigns. 
A strong understanding of social media and current industry trends is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute publicity strategies to achieve national and regional media coverage.
Create engaging press releases, pitch letters, and press kits.
Organize and manage author events, including bookstore appearances.
Build and nurture relationships with media professionals and influencers.
Monitor and analyze publicity campaigns to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications
3 years of administrative/support experience in a fast-paced environment; publicity internship experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Interest in faith-based publishing and social justice topics is a plus..
