Back End Engineer III

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Back End Engineer III to join their team in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:
* Design and build robust, scalable, and secure Traffic Platform that meet the needs of our customers
* Work closely with other developers, architects, and product managers to understand the requirements for our products and ensure that they meet customer needs. -Identify and address performance, security, and scalability issues
* Develop automated tests and other tools to ensure that our products meet quality standards
* Manage and monitor our production systems and respond to incidents in a timely fashion
* Stay current with the latest developments in technology and integrate them into our products as appropriate

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
* At least 3 years of experience in software development
* Strong knowledge of API Gateway, including API management, security, and traffic routing
* Experience working with distributed systems and scalable architectures
* Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, or Go
* Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
* Experience working with Kuberenetes
* Experience working with Prometheus
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
