 Workday Financials IT Director / Product Manager / Program Lead

 

Position Summary:
Seeking a senior Workday Financials leader to oversee a team of 40+ professionals supporting Workday Financial Management and Purchasing modules. This role will drive product strategy, roadmap development, system optimization, large-scale implementations, integrations, and stakeholder engagement within a complex public-sector environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Workday Financials and Purchasing product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management.
  • Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of 40+ functional, technical, and administrative resources.
  • Partner with business and executive stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and drive adoption.
  • Oversee Workday implementations, enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and reporting solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with public-sector regulations, security, and data governance requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement, system optimization, and operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of financial systems experience, including Workday Financials.
  • 5+ years leading large cross-functional teams.
  • Deep expertise in Workday Financial Management, Purchasing, Reporting, Integrations, and Workday Studio.
  • Proven experience developing product roadmaps and leading enterprise Workday initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of public-sector finance, procurement, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in government, municipality, or large public-sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of other ERP platforms.
  • Bachelor''s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or related field; MBA and/or Workday certifications preferred.
