We are seeking an experienced
Linux Networking Systems Administrator to join our team supporting mission-critical infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux systems engineering, security compliance, and network configuration. This role requires hands-on technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in secure, enterprise-level environments.
What You'll DoIn this role, you will:
- Install, update, and upgrade Linux operating systems (e.g., RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu).
- Configure and maintain Linux disk file systems and network connections.
- Analyze and implement Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) requirements.
- Implement Windows Active Directory user authentication in Linux environments.
- Monitor infrastructure systems and respond to incidents in real time.
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues, including network connectivity.
- Manage IAVA processes, system security scans, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system status reports.
- Collaborate with other administrators and support teams to maintain system reliability and performance.
What You BringRequired Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience supporting Linux-based systems in an enterprise or mission environment.
- Strong experience with:
- Linux OS installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- File system and disk management utilities
- STIG implementation and compliance
- Network configuration and troubleshooting
- Active Directory integration for Linux systems
- User/group permission management and system security
