Oracle Cloud Fusion UAT Engineer - 100% Remote

Position: Oracle Cloud Fusion UAT Engineer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 6-12 Months

 

Position Overview

The Oracle Cloud Fusion UAT Engineer will lead and execute end to end User Acceptance Testing across Oracle Cloud Fusion modules (Financials, SCM, HCM, or cross‑ functional areas depending on project scope). The role requires strong business process understanding, hands‑ on testing expertise, and the ability to coordinate with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure high ‑quality releases.

 

Key Responsibilities

1. UAT Planning & Strategy

•               Develop UAT strategy, scope, timelines, and entry/exit criteria.

•               Identify test scenarios and test coverage based on BRDs/MD50s/functional designs.

•               Coordinate with business SMEs to validate requirements and expected outcomes.

2. Test Case Design & Execution

•               Create detailed test cases for Oracle Cloud Fusion modules (Financials, SCM, Procurement, Projects, HCM—depending on project).

•               Execute test cases, record results, and validate system behavior against business processes.

•               Perform regression testing during quarterly Oracle Cloud updates.

3. Defect Management

•               Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

•               Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and integration teams to reproduce and resolve issues.

•               Validate fixes and ensure closure of defects within timelines.

4. Cross‑Functional Collaboration

•               Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and IT teams to ensure business readiness.

•               Support SIT teams by sharing UAT insights and validating SIT coverage.

•               Facilitate UAT workshops, walkthroughs, and sign‑off sessions with business stakeholders.

5. Documentation & Compliance

•               Prepare UAT test scripts, traceability matrices, defect logs, and sign‑off documents.

•               Ensure compliance with audit, SOX, and change‑management processes.

•               Maintain documentation for quarterly patch testing and regression cycles.

6. Oracle Cloud Quarterly Release Testing

•               Analyze Oracle Cloud release notes for Financials/SCM/HCM modules.

•               Identify impacted areas and prepare regression test plans.

•               Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

 

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Functional Skills

•               Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion modules (Financials, SCM, Procurement, Projects, or HCM).

•               Experience with:

•               UAT/SIT testing methodologies

•               Test case design and execution

•               Defect lifecycle management

•               Oracle Cloud workflows, configurations, and business processes

•               Familiarity with:

•               FBDI/HDL data loads (preferred)

•               OTBI/BIP reports (for validation)

•               OIC integrations (for end‑to‑end testing)

 

Professional Experience

•               4–8+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud or Oracle EBS testing.

•               2–5+ years specifically in Oracle Cloud Fusion UAT/SIT.

•               Experience in at least one full‑cycle Oracle Cloud implementation or upgrade.

 

Education & Certifications

•               Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Finance, or related field.

•               Oracle Cloud certifications (Financials/SCM/HCM) preferred.
