SAP BI / HANA Reporting Lead

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BI / HANA Reporting Lead to drive enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP HANA modeling, SAP BusinessObjects, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), with the ability to design scalable data models and deliver high-quality reporting solutions. Knowledge of SDA (Smart Data Access) replication processes is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise reporting solutions using SAP BI and SAP HANA.

• Develop and maintain SAP HANA data models (Calculation Views, Attribute Views, Analytical Views).

• Build and optimize reports and dashboards using SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, and Universe Designer.

• Design and implement advanced dashboards and planning models using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable reporting and data solutions.

• Optimize performance of HANA models and BI reports for large datasets.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across reporting layers.

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to BI developers and analysts.

• Support integration of data from multiple sources using SDA (Smart Data Access) or other replication techniques (good to have).

• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance, and data issues.

• Maintain documentation for data models, reporting solutions, and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in SAP BI/BW and SAP HANA reporting.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA Modeling (Calculation Views, SQLScript).

• Expertise in SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting tools.

• Advanced experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) including dashboards and data visualization.

• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts.

• Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SDA (Smart Data Access) / data replication processes.

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or S/4HANA environments.

• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise or global implementations.
