Systems Engineer – Cloud Software

The opportunity
Join a team building cloud-connected software platforms, where you’ll be the person who makes sure every feature is technically sound and clearly defined, and ready for engineers before a single line of code is written. You’ll work closely with product managers, developers, and project leads to take ideas from concept to a well-documented, testable plan, following an Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) development process.

Your day-to-day

• Break down new product requests, confirm they’re technically achievable, and flag risks and gaps early.
• Write technical requirement documents, design API contracts in OpenAPI/Swagger, and sketch the system flows and dependencies behind each feature.
• Bridge two worlds: keep work moving in Agile sprints while meeting the documentation and traceability standards of the V-Model.
• Dig into logs and traces when integration tests fail, find the root cause, and help engineering fix it fast.
• Work with engineering leads and project managers on effort estimates and delivery timelines.
• Own the paperwork that matters: test evidence and verification records that get the team through ASPICE assessments.

What we need from you

• 5+ years in systems engineering, technical business analysis, or solution architecture for cloud software.
• Real ASPICE experience: you’ve taken at least two long-running projects all the way through assessment, including evidence and audit prep.
• Solid API design skills across REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
• Comfortable troubleshooting with tools like DataDog and AWS CloudWatch.
• Day-to-day fluency with Jama, Jira, Confluence, Postman, and Swagger.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
• Strong written and spoken English.
