Job Title: Process Improvement Manager

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Role Overview

Leads end-to-end business process transformation using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across departments. Conducts "As-Is" workflow analysis, stakeholder engagement for pain point identification, and designs optimized "To-Be" processes with data-driven ROI metrics and implementation roadmaps. Translates processes into functional/non-functional specifications for modular/low-code solutions. Six Sigma Black Belt REQUIRED.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct end-to-end business process reviews across departments/functional areas.
  • Engage stakeholders to identify process pain points, bottlenecks, improvement opportunities.
  • Document "As-Is" workflows and analyze using Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Design optimized "To-Be" workflows with transition/implementation plans.
  • Translate processes into functional/non-functional specifications for low-code solutions.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations improving efficiency, reducing waste.
  • Establish metrics tracking improvements and ROI.
  • Facilitate process mapping workshops, working sessions, stakeholder training.
  • Collaborate with IT/operations aligning process plans with system capabilities.
  • Develop implementation roadmaps and change management strategies.



Certification: Six Sigma Black Belt REQUIRED.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years Process engineering, operations optimization, business process improvement.
  • 5+ years Evaluating current state processes and designing optimized processes.
  • 1+ years Specifying software system requirements for improved solutions.
  • 1+ years Proven track record leading process transformation initiatives in large organizations.
  • 1+ years Proficiency in process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart, etc.).
  • 1+ years Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management skills.
  • 1+ years Operational metrics, workflow optimization, cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ years Regulated/government environments.
  • 1+ years Process automation/low-code tools (Power Platform, Appian).
  • 1+ years Lean certification.

Technical Skills: Six Sigma Black Belt, Lean methodologies, Visio/process modeling, stakeholder facilitation, low-code specifications
