Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Encompass Senior Developer with strong expertise in Encompass (Ellie Mae / ICE Mortgage Technology), SDK/plugin development, API integrations, and mortgage lending platform customization. The ideal candidate will lead technical enhancements, enterprise integrations, and platform modernization initiatives supporting mortgage lending operations.

This role requires deep hands-on Encompass development expertise along with strong mortgage domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Encompass Development & Customization

• Design, develop, and implement Encompass customizations including:
  • Business rules
  • Workflows
  • System configurations
  • Custom calculations
• Configure and manage:
  • Custom forms
  • Input forms
  • Field triggers
  • Data mappings
• Develop event-driven platform customizations and workflow automation

SDK / Plugin Development

• Build and enhance Encompass SDK-based plugins to extend platform capabilities
• Improve platform usability, automation, and business process efficiency
• Develop scalable custom components using:
  • C#
  • .NET

API Development & Integration

• Develop and integrate:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP services
  • Encompass Developer Connect APIs
• Integrate Encompass with enterprise systems such as:
  • Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
  • CRM platforms
  • Credit bureaus
  • Document management systems
  • Reporting platforms
• Support middleware and cloud integration strategies (e.g., MuleSoft, microservices)

Support, Performance & Compliance

• Ensure:
  • Application performance
  • Scalability
  • Security
  • Stability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Provide L3 support for critical application incidents
• Ensure solutions comply with:
  • Banking standards
  • Mortgage industry compliance requirements

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with:

• Translate mortgage business requirements into scalable technical solutions
