Description

Markon is seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to support an Intelligence Community customer. This role will design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular technologies. This position supports the full software development lifecycle, translating complex business and system requirements into scalable software solutions while working within an Agile / DevOps environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and Angular.
  • Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into application designs, interfaces, and software solutions.
  • Develop and integrate web services, APIs, database interfaces, and distributed application components.
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
  • Develop solutions utilizing JDBC, ODBC, and direct database interfaces.
  • Participate in Scrum / Agile development activities, peer reviews, testing, and quality assurance.
  • Support automated builds, testing, and deployments using Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Troubleshoot application, integration, and performance issues within Linux-based environments.
  • Develop technical documentation, software designs, diagrams, and project status information.
  • Collaborate with developers, engineers, customers, and stakeholders to deliver mission-focused software solutions.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in software development, including developing and supporting enterprise web applications.
  • Strong development experience with Java and Angular.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful web services / APIs and web-based application interfaces.
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, test automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience developing and supporting applications in Linux environments.
  • Experience with JDBC, ODBC, or direct database interfaces.
  • Experience translating complex system and business requirements into application functionality and technical solutions.
  • Experience working within Scrum / Agile development environments.
  • Strong software troubleshooting, testing, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications
  • Experience developing microservices and micro frontend architectures.
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions within AWS cloud environments.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Terraform and Puppet module development.
  • Experience with distributed data architectures and ETL tools.
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web services.
  • Experience supporting government architecture or engineering review boards.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
