Role Overview
We are seeking a System Administrator focused on ServiceNow. This role involves enterprise-level monitoring, maintaining the ServiceNow CMDB, and supporting hardware and software asset management. The position requires hands-on configuration experience and collaboration with developers to ensure the quality of functional capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform enterprise-level monitoring, including advanced troubleshooting with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and Dynatrace.
- Maintain the ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB).
- Maintain the ServiceNow Discovery Configuration.
- Provide configuration support for Hardware and Software Asset Management.
- Support requirement gathering sessions and user story development.
- Support developers to ensure the quality and design of functional capabilities are realized.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant IT experience is required. This must include at least two years of configuration and enterprise-level monitoring, with advanced troubleshooting of complex environmental or application issues. A minimum of one year of experience with general business requirements and configuring out-of-the-box digital workflow components is also necessary.
Technical Skills: Candidates must have experience with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager and Dynatrace for enterprise-level monitoring. Proficiency with scripting in PowerShell, JavaScript, and Python is required. Effective troubleshooting skills across datacenter infrastructure components such as Network, F5, Operating Systems, SAN, and Virtualization are essential.
Communication: Excellent communication skills are needed to provide timely updates on all issues, projects, and troubleshooting efforts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dynatrace Certification.
- ServiceNow Admin Certification.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $35.00 to $41.00 per hour. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience and qualifications. Benefits may be available to eligible employees.
