Job Summary

Seeking a Senior AWS Developer to design and build a serverless web application for secure online form submissions and document uploads. The role involves integrating AWS services, developing backend services in Python, building a React frontend, and storing audit metadata in PostgreSQL (RDS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain AWS serverless applications
  • Build APIs using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and Cognito
  • Develop frontend components using React
  • Implement secure document upload and processing using S3
  • Design and optimize PostgreSQL RDS databases and SQL queries
  • Integrate with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and follow security best practices
  • Produce technical documentation and support Agile delivery

Required Skills
  • 5+ years AWS experience; 3+ years serverless development
  • AWS: Lambda (Python), Step Functions, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, CloudWatch
  • Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation / Terraform / CDK)
  • 4+ years Python backend development
  • 3+ years React (hooks, modern patterns)
  • 3+ years PostgreSQL RDS
  • CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Git, Agile/Scrum
  • API design (OpenAPI/Swagger) and security best practices

Preferred
  • CMIS or enterprise document management integration
  • SOAP/XML and MTOM attachments
  • Docker and microservices exposure

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years total development experience
