Description: Our client is currently seeking an Application Test Analyst IV to design, execute, and improve test procedures that ensure exceptional product quality. In this role, you will evaluate the functionality, usability, and reliability of hardware and software systems, identifying issues early to deliver flawless products to customers.
A successful Test Analyst is passionate about problem-solving, possesses strong analytical skills, and can balance attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture of system performance and product behavior.
Key Responsibilities Test Planning & Analysis - Identify products and components requiring evaluation in the software review process.
- Define test strategies, including selection of test types, coverage, scenarios, and test data.
- Maintain and manage test data, documenting outcomes for each test cycle and identifying defects.
Execution & Reporting - Perform system diagnostics, functional tests, regression tests, and performance tests.
- Prepare clear, accurate test reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Track defects, monitor resolution progress, and validate fixes in collaboration with development teams.
Collaboration & Communication - Work closely with software developers, product owners, and validation teams to ensure strong communication flow.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure requirements are fully understood and implemented correctly.
Continuous Improvement - Identify redundant functions, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
- Enhance personal and team knowledge of business applications, user needs, and industry expectations.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, protocols, and best practices in testing.
Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software development and programming concepts.
- Hands-on experience with test techniques, tools, and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid reporting skills with the ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation.
- Strong planning and organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Effective team player with good communication and project management capabilities.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage tasks efficiently.
