Position Summary

The Manager of Technology is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of enterprise technology platforms, including application development, data infrastructure, analytics, and emerging AI-driven solutions. This role ensures the reliability performance of all technology systems while driving innovation in Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of complex, large-scale automotive data sets, including vehicle, customer, marketing, and operational data, to drive advanced analytics and AI-driven insights.
• Act as a trusted technology advisor and strategic consultant to automotive OEM clients, translating business challenges into data, analytics, and AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of technology strategy, architecture, and operations to ensure reliability, integrity, security, scalability, and recoverability of applications, data platforms, infrastructure, networks, and cloud services.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled systems, advanced analytics platforms, and data-driven solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Assess complex information systems challenges and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with OEM clients, cloud providers, data platform partners, and AI technology providers.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and ethical use of data and AI systems, including data privacy, security standards, and responsible AI practices.

Required Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in custom application software development and enterprise system architecture.
• Proven expertise managing large-scale packaged and custom CRM platforms.
• Hands-on or leadership-level experience with Artificial Intelligence, machine learning models, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision systems.
• Experience leveraging AI and analytics to improve operational efficiency, customer insights, and business outcomes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technology portfolios.
• Strong project management experience across a broad range of technologies and methodologies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and capable of driving initiatives to completion.
• Strong leadership presence with a high degree of initiative, accountability, and strategic thinking.

Education

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; or an MBA with a specialization in Information Technology or Analytics.
• Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership roles, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
