Summary

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary bridge between security initiatives and Product/Development teams
Translate enterprise security requirements into actionable application and infrastructure changes
Remediate application-level CVEs and security vulnerabilities across cloud-native environments
Optimize Kubernetes manifests and workload configurations to comply with updated security standards
Configure and maintain Kubernetes security controls including SecurityContext, NetworkPolicies, and workload hardening
Manage and support Kubernetes deployment tooling using Helm and Kustomize
Collaborate with development teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Monitor application performance and reliability using APM tools such as Datadog and New Relic
Support secure deployment practices, operational stability, and continuous improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot application, deployment, and infrastructure-related issues within Kubernetes environments

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Kubernetes workload configuration and security
Hands-on expertise with:
- SecurityContext
- NetworkPolicies
- Kubernetes workload hardening
Experience with Helm and Kustomize
Strong Application Security (AppSec) knowledge
Experience with APM and monitoring tools such as Datadog and/or New Relic
Experience integrating security and operational controls into CI/CD pipelines
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Experience working in cloud-native and containerized environments
