The Position:
Position Title: Enterprise Systems Training Workstream Lead
Location: Hybrid; Remote Off-Site and On-Site in Middletown, PA
Duration: 30+ Month Project
Note: Hybrid work environment is expected to be 1-week per month on-site in Middletown PA, varying with project needs.
We are seeking an Enterprise Systems Training Workstream Lead to add to our team assisting the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) Information Technology (IT) Department.
Our Enterprise Systems Training Workstream Lead will be responsible for, and perform the following duties;
Training Plan;
- Training Needs Assessment: Develop and gain PTC approval of a Training Needs Assessment by collaborating with the PTC s key stakeholders, assessing the skills and knowledge gaps across impacted departments and roles.
- Target Audience Identification: Define, document, and gain PTC approval of training target groups, including end users, power users, and administrators, tailoring content to the specific needs of each group.
- Learning Objectives: Define, document, set, and gain PTC approval for clear Learning Objectives for each training session or module, ensuring they align with the overall goals of the project.
- Modality Selection: Define, document, gain PTC approval for the appropriate delivery methods for the training, including in-person workshops, virtual sessions, and self-paced e-learning, to suit the learning preferences and logistics of the PTC.
- Training Timeline: Create, document, and gain PTC approval for a detailed training timeline that schedules the rollout of training sessions, balancing project milestones with employee availability.
- Evaluation and Feedback Mechanisms: Develop, document, and gain PTC approval for a process for evaluating the effectiveness of the training program, including pre- and post-training assessments, quizzes, and surveys to gather feedback from participants.
Curriculum Development;
- Collaborate with the internal project teams to design, develop, document, and gain PTC approval for a comprehensive training program based on the approved Training Plan, including custom materials, modules, and user manuals tailored to different business units.
- The training program should include, but is not limited to, a plan for cross-training staff from other areas of operations, or management, for peak period, emergency, or temporary assignments providing for staff redundancy.
Training Material Development;
- All training materials (e-learning modules, user guides, presentations, etc.) must be developed and aligned with the learning objectives, covering all system functionalities. All materials shall be reviewed and approved by the PTC.
Online Training Development;
- E-Learning Modules: Design and develop online training modules to accommodate remote learners and ensure that employees can access training materials at their convenience. These modules will cover, but are not limited to, key system functionalities, navigation, and process changes, and include interactive elements such as videos, quizzes, simulations, and assessments to test understanding.
- Learning Management System (LMS) Integration: E-learning modules must be fully integrated into the SuccessFactors LMS, without errors, and be easily accessible to all employees. Work with the PTC s IT and training teams to ensure that the online training materials are approved, integrated and available.
- Self-Paced Learning: Create content that allows users to learn at their own pace while ensuring they receive the same level of quality and comprehensiveness as in-person training.
Train-the-Trainer Materials;
- Instructor Guides and Materials: Develop a comprehensive "Train-the-Trainer" (TTT) program that equips internal trainers with the skills and knowledge to deliver training to additional end-users. This program will include detailed instructor guides, lesson plans, presentation materials, and best practices for effective facilitation.
- Ongoing Support for Trainers: After training the internal trainers, the consultants will provide ongoing support and feedback during their initial training sessions, ensuring they can confidently deliver the material independently, as directed by the PTC.
Training Delivery;
- All training delivery and evaluation must be reviewed and approved by the PTC.
- Scheduled training sessions (virtual, in-person, and self-paced) to cover all target audiences must be approved by the PTC and delivered as per the agreed upon training plan.
- The training will include, but is not limited to, system navigation, functionalities, and process integration.
- Trainers must demonstrate full proficiency in UBOS functionalities and the ability to engage learners effectively.
- Ensure that training attendees have the skills and knowledge to operate the new system effectively.
- Provide hands-on support where needed.
Post-Training Support;
- Offer post-training follow-ups, answering any queries and conducting re courses as required and approved by the PTC.
Documentation;
- Prepare training reports, track attendee progress, and offer feedback to the management team and approved by the PTC.
- Fully document all created work associated with this position, including technical and functional designs and diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, best practices for others to follow, plus any other documentation as required by the Commission. This documentation shall follow the format and / or templates as instructed by the Commission.
Performance Metrics;
- The success criteria of training will be measured based on:
- Successful completion of all scheduled training sessions.
- User satisfaction and competency based on training feedback and post-training assessments.
- Successful execution of the Train-the-Trainer program, with internal trainers.
- The level of system adoption and productivity post-implementation.
The Skills and Experience:
- 5+ Years: Experience in delivering both in-person and virtual training sessions, with the ability to engage learners and effectively transfer knowledge
- 2+ Years: Experience in delivering both in-person and virtual training sessions, for a high-volume contact center
- 2+ Years: Experience in delivering training for SAP S/4 HANA systems
- 2+ Years: Experience in delivering training for Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems
- Proven experience in designing and developing e-learning content, ideally using Articulate 360, or similar e-learning tools, such as Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or Moodle
- The ability to become familiar with the technical aspects of the system and the ability to translate complex processes into user-friendly training material
- 2+ Implementation project experiences in delivering training for Tolling Back Office systems is highly desired
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desired
- ServiceNow Experience in Idea, Project, and Demand modules is highly desired
