Position: SAP Asset Manager/MDK Developer

Location: REMOTE

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

7+ Years of experience required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Must-Have Skills

• SAP Asset Manager: Proven implementation and enhancement experience with at least one full lifecycle implementation in Asset Management mobility.
• MDK (Mobile Development Kit): 4+ years of hands-on experience in MDK application development.
• Integration & Backend: Strong integration expertise using OData services (online & offline sync) and backend integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Cloud & Security: Experience configuring and deploying apps via SAP BTP Mobile Services, including knowledge of security (OAuth/SAML).
• Programming: Solid programming skills in JavaScript for MDK rule development and customization.
• Core Concepts: Strong understanding of offline enablement, synchronization, and performance optimization.

Good-to-Have Skills

• SAP ABAP: Knowledge of SAP ABAP and debugging capabilities.
• Domain Knowledge: SAP Plant Maintenance / Enterprise Asset Management.
• Legacy Systems: Experience working with legacy mobility solutions such as SAP Syclo.

Job Responsibilities

• Development & Configuration: Develop MDK applications and create/debug MDK Branded Clients for Android and iOS.
• Implementation & Support: Implement and enhance SAP Asset Manager functionalities while managing upgrades.
• Framework Management: Configure the Mobile Application Integration Framework (SAP Syclo Framework) and work with SAP Gateway Tracing and Error Logs.
• Quality & Standards: Ensure adherence to architecture standards and principles during development.
• Testing Oversight: Coordinate and manage MDK-related issues during Unit testing and Integration testing phases.
• Team Operations: Enforce application development Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the development team.
