JOB SUMMARY
Vaco is currently seeking a D365 Business Central Functional Analyst for a Direct-Hire opportunity that is located in Irving, TX 75061 (onsite 5-days per week). The D365 Business Central Functional Analyst will provide day-to-day support for operations, with strong expertise in the A&F modules and WMS. The D365 Business Central Functional Analyst will ensure optimal use of the ERP system, troubleshoot issues, and support business functions in a fast-paced environment. The D365 Business Central Functional Analyst will be a highly visible role, interfacing with all aspects of the business, driving improvements, change, and behaviors across the entire organization. Additionally, the D365 Business Central Functional Analyst will directly support end users and enhance current processes.
About the Project: This position will demand demands deep, hands-on expertise in Business Central, specifically full transactional fluency in Warehouse & Inventory (receiving / picking / put-aways / shipments / adjustments) and F&A modules (GL postings / cost variances / COGS timing issues / month-end troubleshooting). The ideal fit will know and understand exactly where to navigate and which transactions to run to diagnose and fix real operational issues quickly. This position is NOT a fit for general ERP consultants, Dynamics F&O resources, NetSuite / SAP experts, pure Business Analysts, or Implementation / Migration specialists. This position requires at least 3 years of genuine Business Central functional experience (NAV is a plus but secondary), strong grasp of role-based security / permissions, and awareness of licensing tier limitations (Essentials vs. Premium).
