responsibilities:
- Architect and build enterprise full-stack solutions using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and React or Angular.
- Design and implement modern cloud applications across AWS services including serverless, containerized workloads, and relational/NoSQL databases.
- Establish automated CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and production observability to maintain platform reliability.
- Collaborate closely with solution architects and product leadership to define execution roadmaps and system designs.
qualifications:
10+ years of professional software engineering experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices architecture.
5+ years of hands-on experience building modern web applications using React or Angular.
Extensive experience with AWS cloud architecture (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
Ability to work on-site 3 days per week at the Whippany, NJ location.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior engineering experience within the US Financial Services or Banking sector.
Demonstrated expertise with event-driven architecture using Apache Kafka or AWS Kinesis.
Active industry certifications in AWS or Java development.
